My kinda town
Chicago, Illinois – that’s my home city! Though, to be precise, I grew up in Riverdale, a community bordering Chicago’s southernmost tip. In 1998 or thereabouts, our family moved a bit further south to Lansing, Illinois. So, while I say Chicago on social media, I’m truly a south suburban native.
In Chicago, night photography is my preferred time to photograph the city. Capturing the city during the day feels a bit touristy to me. At night, the city becomes your canvas, letting you experiment with more techniques and capture a wider array of colors.
